The Basics
I am Stephanie, a graphic designer at BCA Architects & Engineers. I have been employed there since the Spring of 2024. I work on proposals, marketing campaigns, and social media content. I have a background in architectural design, and my favorite font is.... well you will have to ask me to find out!
Outside of my work life, I am a daughter, sister, aunt, friend, girlfriend, dog lover, wine enthusiast, kayaker, reader, runner, outdoor explorer, and a born and raised northerner (shout out to Northeastern Pennsylvania) to name a few. I love creating for the sake of creating and challenging myself in new and different ways. I also believe a work-life balance is imperative to my success, and I maintain this balance through time management and pursuing my other passions.

Experience
For four years, I thrived as the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist at FSU College of Medicine. During this time, I developed logo guide templates, crafted compelling marketing materials, and ensured social media graphics were sized appropriately. My dedication was recognized with a promotion to Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Specialist. Additionally, I supported the production team with video and event photography.
Driven by a desire to expand my marketing expertise, I embarked on a Master's degree during my time at FSU. In August 2023, I graduated from FSU's College of Communication and Information with a Master's in Professional Communication, specializing in Integrated Marketing Communication.
Current Role
Currently, I leverage my skills as a Graphic Designer at BCA Architects & Engineers, a multi-office firm spanning Upstate New York. My role involves a mix of graphic design and marketing. I prepare and design project proposals and collaborate with the lead graphic designer and the Director of Business Development to build marketing strategies. The collaborative aspect excites me most – working with the team to develop engaging designs and marketing materials that foster strong employee engagement.
Passion for Design
The true magic of graphic design lies in transforming textual information into visually captivating and mission-aligned materials. While I may not possess extensive knowledge in film and photography, I am a quick learner who thrives on acquiring new skills. Every new task I tackle brings a sense of accomplishment.
