Stephanie Snopek

As mentioned, I studied architecture at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. After six years in the profession, I decided to change careers and transitioned into the graphic design and marketing industry.

2016-2019

Hoy + Stark Architects

Intern Architect

  • Participated in client meetings

  • Contributed to the development of architectural design solutions

  • Collaborated in design reviews, charrettes, and pin-ups

  • Prepared design boards showcasing interior color palettes and finishes

  • Produced preliminary designs and construction documents in ArchiCad, Revit, and AutoCad

  • Managed three to five small school renovation projects

Animal Arts Design Studios

Designer

  • Managed multiple animal hospital projects of varying scale (3,000 sf - 40,000 sf)

  • Collaborated with a cross-functional team, including consultants, to develop and execute project documentation, construction plans, and details.

  • Coordinated project documentation execution, construction plans, and details, ensuring quality control and completion 

  • Developed drawings for large-scale specialty animal hospital

  • Reviewed shop drawings, material samples, and construction documents for the conformance with design

  • Mentored by senior architects and principals

Master Degree

During my time in graduate school, I focused strongly on refining my style and concepts. I was also enrolled in and graduated with a Certificate in Classical Architecture. 

2007-2011

The Catholic University of America

Bachelor of Science Degree

CUA was pivotal in building my foundation of architectural knowledge. I was apart of AIAS, Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society, and Studio Culture Committee. I was also selected for the CUArch Installation in April 2011.
